Not one single thing on this 1947 Chevrolet pickup build seems to be sourced from the vehicle. This is rat rod at its finest. A vehicle that runs in the bare minimum of ways, and turns heads doing so.
We stumbled upon the unique 1947 Chevy on eBay, and the seller has plenty to say about its build. The 1947 Chevy has been chopped to the bare metal, and then placed on top of a 1995 Chevrolet S10 frame. A 5.3-liter V8 was sourced from a 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe, and a Turbo 400 transmission handles shifting duties, sending power to a rear 8.8-inch differential with 3.08 gears. We told you this car was chopped together.
But, chopped together with love no doubt. Because as quickly as we found this listing, it’s already been scooped up for $14,900. Not a bad price for a crazy toy to turn heads and draw crowds at your local car show. Check out more information on the car at the listing here.
