Opel has partnered with Ravenol to put the lubricant manufacturer’s logos on the Adam Cup cars and the Opel Rallye Junior team vehicles in the ADAC Opel Rallye Cup. The partnership, planned for the mid-term of the racing season, also entails support of Opel’s circuit racing ventures in the Astra OPC Cup within the Nürburgring Endurance Championship.
Ravenol oils and lubricants will now be used in Opel’s race cars in all of the aforementioned race series, and will also aid in the development of the Ravenol products used as the company optimizes and tailors them to Opel’s racing cars. The first use of Ravenol oils in Opel Motorsport cars will be at the Nurburgring for the Astra OPC Cup on June 20 followed by the Ypres Rallye in Belgium for the ADAC Opel Rallye Cup one week later.
“We are delighted about the partnership with such a renowned company like Ravenol,” said Tina Müller, Opel Chief Marketing Officer. “This cooperation is especially interesting for us, because it goes well beyond classic sponsoring. I am certain that consolidating the know-how of Opel Motorsport and Ravenol will result in an extremely powerful combination from which both companies will benefit.”
