General Motors’s telematics subsidiary, OnStar, has announced plans to offer its services in Argentina in the year 2016.
With over 19 million years of experience and 7 million customers around the world, OnStar will create a competitive advantage for GM’s one and only Chevrolet brand in Latin America, while providing added value and peace of mind to owners in the region. The announcement of OnStar launching its services in Argentina follows news that OnStar will launch in Brazil at the end of 2015.
OnStar says that as it enters South America, it will customize its services according to market preferences. As in other parts of the world where it is offered, OnStar will offer 24-hour access to advisors along with Security, Emergency, Connectivity, and Navigation services.
