At 1,200 horsepower, this twin-turbo Chevrolet Camaro appears to be in an elite class of straight-line performance. If that wasn’t enough, it has quite possibly the sexiest rear-end of a first-gen Camaro that we have ever been fortunate enough to lay our eyes on. The owner is one lucky man.
This mean machine is powered by a 408 ci small block V8, which is boosted by a pair of Bullseye 66 mm turbochargers. Recently, Speed Society was present when the Camaro competed at the Shift S3ctor Airstrip Attack, a drag racing event at a 1/2 mile drag strip for high-horsepower vehicles. Thankfully, the cameras were on when the action happened.
If you’re crunched for time, fast forward to 1:52, you’ll get to see the other-worldly Camaro take on a worked Nissan GT-R, and you won’t want to miss that.
