Setting the memory seat on General Motors vehicles is quite simple and takes less than five seconds. Nevertheless, it’s one of the things we get asked about the most on a daily basis.
So, here’s how to use the memory seats on General Motors vehicles, including Chevrolets, Buicks, GMCs, Cadillacs, Opels, Vauxhalls, and Holdens:
- Adjust the driver seat and outside mirrors to the desired driving positions.
- Press and release the SET button. A beep will sound.
- Immediately press and hold “1” until two beeps sound.
- Repeat Steps 1–3 for a second driver using “2.”
Note that on models equipped with a power-adjustable steering, the memory function also stores the position of the steering wheel.
