Pondering the purchase of a Chevrolet Camaro Z/28? Then you’d better
piss or get off the pot act fast, as you now have less than a week — or until June 1st, 2015 — to redeem a Memorial Day Discount of up to $4,000.
There are less than 600 of the 505-horsepower 7.0L LS7 V8-powered Camaros around the country, and just two-dozen of those are 2014 models.
General Motors is offering to pay the $995 destination charge, $1,700 gas-guzzler tax, and will throw in A/C and a six-speaker stereo for no cost on the 2014 model year Z/28 models, lopping about four grand off the hood off GM’s Pirelli-shredding track monster.
If you can’t find one those pesky 2014s, then fret not — GM will still knock $2,000 off the hood of a 2015 Camaro Z/28, bringing the price down to $70,305.
It’s a big sum, no doubt, especially for a vehicle like the Z/28. but we think its well worth it to watch BMW M4 and Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG owners stare slack-jawed as you fly past them on the track.
