General Motors CEO, Mary Barra, has a tough job. She leads one of the world’s largest automakers, has steered the company through one of the largest recalls in history and continues to keep GM in the black as the company recovers from the Great Recession.
So, like all of us, we need a release. And, also like us, Barra is an auto enthusiast. Naturally, she chose some of the finest engineering GM has brought to the table thus far. And that, ladies and gents, is the 2015 C7 Corvette Z06.
But, Barra went even more exclusive, opting for the C7 Z06 convertible. Nice.
The report comes from Corvette Blogger, who received a few photos from Bowling Green, as the 2015 C7 Z06 convertible rolled off of the assembly line. Barra opted for completely black exterior, with the only pinch of color found on the bright-yellow brake calipers.
In terms of specs, the 2015 C7 Z06 convertible is outfitted with the Z07 performance package, Stage 1 aero package and the eight-speed automatic. Basically, Barra didn’t skimp out anywhere, and the car would be as comfortable on the track as it would be on Woodward.
We’re sure Barra will enjoy her new ride. And, quite frankly, we’re jealous.
