General Motors India has inaugurated a new dealership — Nova Chevrolet — in India. The new 3S (Sales, Service, Spare Parts) facility is located in the city of Jorhat in the north-eastern state of Assam, and will provide vehicle sales as well as “a wide range of accessories and top-of-the-line support to the customers.”
“We have opened the new dealership in the wake of the increasing popularity of Chevrolet vehicles in Jorhat”, said Mr. Arvind Saxena, President and Managing Director, GM India. “The facility will be headed by Mr. Dilip Baruah who is recognized as a prominent business leader with strong credentials in the state. We are confident that under his able leadership and guidance, the dealership will set new benchmark in sales, service and customer satisfaction.”
Nova Chevrolet (hold the Chevy Nova references, please) has a team of highly-trained and well-equipped technicians equipped with the latest tools, diagnostic equipment and computerized facilities for attending to the needs of customers in the region.
The opening of Nova Chevrolet brings GM-Chevy’s representation in the state of Assam to 9 sales outlets and 9 service facilities, while bringing GM’s representation across India to 245 sales points and 270 service outlets.
