Holden will continue its long-standing partnership with Australia’s most famous football club, the Collingwood Football Club. Holden and Collingwood announced a renewed partnership through the end of 2018.
The partnership will see Holden’s continued statues as a Platinum Partner and designation as Head Coach and Coaches Partner and the exclusive Motor Vehicle Partner. Holden announced the partnership with the 2015 Collingwood leadership group, including head coach Nathan Buckley.

Both Holden and Collingwood are instantly recognizable brands, making the partnership a natural fit engrained in Aussie culture. “We have big plans for the future and we’re proud to align ourselves with a club and a game that is committed to innovation and excellence,” said Simon McNamara, Holden sponsorship manager.
Apart from the high-profile sponsorship, Holden will also continue to support local grassroots sports teams as well. The Holden Home Ground Advantage program will commit $5 million AUD over the next ten years for communities to support local sports clubs.
