The 2015 Holden Colorado will receive a range of upgrades meant to improve the ride quality, reduce the noise and vibration and offer a premium interior materials.
These changes are aimed at increasing the appeal of the Holden Colorado among urban customers.
“The Colorado range has a great reputation for off-road driving and we wanted to translate this to urban and highway driving too. Whilst customers enjoy the reassurance they get from driving a very capable 4×4, they should also enjoy driving it on everyday errands,” said Bill Mott, Holden Director of Marketing. “The reduction in noise and vibration and the introduction of a tailored comfort suspension on the Colorado LTZ and Colorado 7 LTZ vehicles ensure that driving the 2015 Colorado is both a comfortable and enjoyable experience in any environment.”
Both the 2015 Colorado truck LTZ and Colorado 7 LTZ will adopt a new “Comfort Suspension.” This suspension is meant to improve the ride quality on urban roads by revising the spring rate and damper tune. Plus it comes with a new stiffer front stabiliser.
Also, both models will come with new, heated leather appointed seats and an upgraded Jet Black soft touch surface fascias and center console. The heated seats are optional on the Colorado LTZ crew cab.
Holden also refined the Hill Descent Control, Hill Start Assist and added a new acoustic package after intensive testing at Monash University wind tunnel facility. The acoustic package reduces noise and vibration making for a smoother ride on highway and urban roads.
Lastly, the Holden Colorado will come in a new Satin Steel Grey color.
Even though it was improved and comes with new interior features, pricing will stay the same.
