In case you’ve never gotten an Uber or haven’t heard of the company, it’s essentially an app for your smartphone which will find you an on-demand taxi. Ubers aren’t yellow cabs though, drivers apply within the company and then use their own vehicle – as long as it is new enough and has four doors – to pick up fares.
Late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel recently got in on the Uber action after signing up to be a driver for the service. Chevrolet then provided him with a Cruze to pick up his fares in and he was off to pick up some unsuspecting smartphone users.
Kimmel only aired the clip of him picking up his first fare, but the video is still pretty humorous. The customer doesn’t realize Kimmel is behind the wheel at first and even shakes the famous funny man’s hand before realizing who will be driving him around. Check it out in the video below.
