If you’re a gearhead interested in taking photos or video of cars, it’s helpful to have a dad who’s also into cars and owns a classic muscle car or sports car himself. Conversely, if you own a muscle car or sports car, it’s helpful to have a son who is able to take video and photographs of the car for free. That’s the arrangement the creator of this video, Kyle Wolf, and his dad have going on.
That’s pretty cool for Kyle, because his dad’s pro-touring 1964 C2 Corvette is one of the nicest we’ve laid eyes on. The car is set to feature on the cover of the upcoming December issue of ‘Vette magazine and recently had an article published about it by ‘Vette’s sister publication Super Chevy. The car has way too many upgrades to list here, but the highlights include a 7.0-liter LS7 crate engine, a Tremec TKO 600 five-speed manual transmission, modern-day Wilwood 13-inch disc brakes, a completely overhauled interior and much more.
The short movie trailer-style video features rolling shots of the Corvette, interior ride-along views and footage of the car accelerating from the outside. Kyle says he made the video for a video production class at school and we’re almost certain this was the coolest entry that teacher say all day. Check it out below.
