As of the beginning of 2013 the UK’s top 10 stolen vehicles, according to The Telegraph, was encompassed with German sports sedans and British people movers. Nowhere on the list was a Vauxhall Corsa found. In fact, all of the cars listed are close to triple the price of a Vauxhall Corsa, and prime for containment and shipping for a lofty sum abroad. So why are thieves targeting the affordable little hatchback?
Your guess is as good as ours, but recently there was a reported not one, not two, but four Vauxhall Corsas either stolen, or attempted to be stolen from their parking spots between October 12th, and October 13th. One Vauxhall Corsa was found, but in a bit worse condition having been crashed into a row of shrubbery. Perhaps the dirty work of the Knights who say Ni. The report says thieves seem to be targeting older model Corsas, but local police are urging owners of any model year to stay vigilant.
Hopefully the car thieves clean their act up, and at least get behind the wheel of the hot Vauxhall Corsa VXR, legally of course.
