We’re sure the owner of the Black Z51-equipped Corvette had insurance and got the majority of his/her investment back, but that doesn’t take away the emotional sting out of rolling your new prized possession. It’s even worse when you’re a big Corvette fan and hate to see any of the sportscars mistreated, let alone your very own.
There are no details surrounding this accident other than what’s on the IAA listing, which states that the damage is “all over” and is the result of a rollover accident. Those Forgeline aftermarket wheels make us think this driver was into doing some spirited driving, but there’s no proof the car was crashed as a result of speeding.
We’re starting to wonder (and hope) if all the people involved in the numerous C7 Stingray accidents we’ve come across are alright. The photos, which can all be viewed here, give us a clear reminder to drive safe whether in a beige econobox or a brand new Stingray.
