A Bloomberg story reveals that South Korean prosecutors are currently investigating a potential unauthorized leak of the General Motors’ engine technology from a supplier.
The report notes that the currently unnamed design company in South Korea was raided for evidence on Tuesday.
The online publication notes that “[p]rosecutors in South Korea learned about the possible leak through its own intelligence network.” A General Motors contract worker is said to be the individual responsible for the leaked information.
General Motors recently announced its plans to grab 10 percent of South Korea’s marketshare. Hopefully this leak does not limit the company’s planned growth.
