Chevrolet released their “Transform your Everyday,” TV spot last month, which features scenes from the new Transformers 4: Age of Extinction movie and the 2014 Camaro in familiar ‘Bumblebee’ attire. The general public loves muscle cars, and the new Transformers movie did pretty well at the box office, so was Chevy’s TV spot just as successful?
According to Automotive News data, yes. Chevrolet’s ad had the most new viewers on their Top Viral Videos list with 675,802 views since it was posted to YouTube on June 20. The spot shows a boy watching the new Transformers movie and spotting a Bright Yellow Camaro with Black racing stripes. He walks up to it and whispers “Bumblebee, is that you?” a reference to the Transformers series.
