Summer is coming up fast and that means everyone will be pulling their classic cars, sports cars or whatever else was hibernating all winter out of their garage. Some individuals might even be in the market for an all-new vehicle to cruise around in on those warm summer nights and could be taking a look at the Corvette Stingray convertible or the Camaro SS convertible, for example. But if you’re looking for something a little different, how about this fully restored 1982 Jeep CJ with an LS1 V8 stuffed under its hood?
The seller, located in sunny California, says the CJ underwent a complete frame-off restoration before the 5.7-liter LS1 V8 was installed. It has received new shocks, an all-new suspension setup, a new front and rear end and new tires and wheels. It’s also been modernized a tad with a CD stereo system and power steering.
