Corvette Racing has a lot on their plate for 2014, heading into a new season, in an all-new race series, in an all-new car. The team made it look easy enough at the annual Roar Before the 24 testing session, where the No.4 car qualified second overall, but they couldn’t have done it without the help of Pratt & Miller Engineering.
Pratt and Miller has been building Corvette Racing’s cars since the dawn of the team in 1999. Both the C5-R and the C6.R were built under their guidance and expertise and now the recently unveiled C7.R is ready to join the ranks of countless winning automobiles to have left their shop in New Hudson, MI.
Pratt and Miller have put together a video briefly documenting the behind the scenes development and build process of the C7.R before its competition debut at the 2014 Rolex 24 at Daytona on January 25. If you have ever wondered how a GT Le Mans car like the C7.R comes to life, you won’t want to miss the video below.
