Whenever a new performance car is released, it’s only a matter of time before the tuners and tinkerers start to put their hands all over it. This is especially true for the 2014 Corvette, it hasn’t even been out for a full year and yet we’ve seen countless tuned C7s, including an amazing all motor build from Hennessey that’s good for 600 horsepower. Whoosh.
But this build from Florida-based Lashway Motorsports is without a doubt the most ambitious, and interesting we’ve seen to date. Lashway has built the first (as far as we know) running, working turbocharged C7 Corvette. We couldn’t dig up much info on the car, but as far as we know it’s using a single, rear-mounted turbocharger. And while the video is a little grainy, the audio is just fine. Dear lord is it just fine.
