Mundelein, Illinois-based Roadster Shop has taken the term “Restomod” to a whole new level with this 1967 Chevrolet Nova… or what’s left of it. Appropriately named “The Innovator”, the car has been completely overhauled, with almost nothing being left untouched.
The custom body panels and hand-made bumpers are beautiful, surpassed in the looks department only by the under body, which appears not only completely bespoke, but also wonderfully-crafted. Under the hood is GM’s proven LSX454 producing 700 horsepower and 611 lb.-ft. of torque, and the interior looks like a modern incarnation of a classic 60s cabin.
Earlier this month, The Innovator sold for roughly $300,000 at an RK Collector Car auction. We tip our hat in the direction of the new owner.
