Corvette C7 Stingray Convertible Rendered, But Could Also Be The Real Thing

News broke today of alleged photos of the impending Corvette C7 Stingray Convertible breaking cover through a leak, and we’ve gotta say, the new Stingray looks fantastic topless. That is, if the vehicle really is, in fact, an authentic Stingray convertible.
It could very well be a hoax, like Manti Te’o's alleged “dead girlfriend”. It’s not that hard for a Photoshop warrior to construct such a rendering, after all. Chevrolet officials also stepped in, going on record in saying that these photos are “not” that of a Stingray Convertible.
But then again, how far different from the real thing could these pictures even be? We should also note the unique spoiler in the rear, and how the body seems to cascade into the cabin, just as current Corvette Convertibles do. Though whether the photos are legitimate or not, this is probably what we can expect when Chevrolet officially reveals the Stingray Convertible, perhaps early next year
It looks good. The passenger seat is placed too far to the left in the first pic, though, if I’m not mistaken.
