Originally in Detroit in January, the Chevrolet Code 130R revealed itself wearing red with golden wheels. Red wouldn’t be our ideal color, but considering its tantalizing rear-wheel-drive underpinnings, light weight and supposed low price (should it be built), it didn’t matter.
Then came the 2012 Paris Motor Show in September, where the Code 130R was repainted in a sexy sky blue. There was much rejoicing, and the vehicle continued to accumulate interest months after its original unveiling.
Now, in Los Angeles, our friend Adam “HighMileage” Barrera captured the RWD Chevy concept car shining in a shadowy grey, and looks like it means business. As an additional and more subtle change, the concept’s nameplate now reads “Code 130 ‘RS” — one whole extra letter. Woo. And from the looks of it, the cabin is still hollow.
