A select 180 Cadillac XTS sedans have been recalled in Canada due to a slight malfunction involving the rear headrest mechanism. The issue is that after the rear seat headrests have been folded outward, the mechanism may not lock them in the upright position. As such, it increases the risk of injury in a crash.
So far, no recall has been issued in the United States. Canadians owning an afflicted XTS can schedule an appointment with their dealer, where their headrests can be inspected and replaced if need be.
