This Is The Front End Of The Opel Astra Sedan

2013 Opel Astra Sedan 01

When Opel originally announced the Astra sedan, it released photos of the final addition to the Astra family that only showed it from the rear and the sides — for some reason leaving the front end out of the picture (pun intended). Luckily, we were sent these photos of the Astra sedan that clearly show the end of the Astra sedan.

Now that you’ve seen both the Opel Astra sedan and the Buick Verano, do you like the front end design of the Buick more than that of the Opel? Vote in the poll, and sound off in the comments below.

Verano, though both could be better.

My vote goes to the Astra, to be honest. It’s not to say that the Verano doesn’t have good looks, it’s just that after seeing the Opel, it definitely has a cleaner look than the Buick. Of course, I prefer the tail of the Astra too because Lord knows I hate those ass brows that the Verano has.

It would look better with a split grille as a new Pontiac Grand Am.

The Verano has a classier look. The Opel looks too Toyota Camry vanilla to me. Opel’s grill needs to go too. If they refresh the rear of the Verano, it’d look that much better.

I think this looks better than the current design on the Verano, and it suits Buick’s design language. The general shape of the head and tail lights resemble those of the Envision Concept’s and the Enclave’s updated headlights.

Too bad Mazda couldn’t dream of competing with anything Opel offers. Although I do see the smiley-face similarity in the design of the lower front fascia… and despise it.
