2014 Chevrolet Silverado Rendered By Artist

2014 Chevrolet Silverado Rendered

There has certainly been enough spy photos of the all-new 2014 Chevrolet Silverado by now. But not enough artistic renderings. Luckily, Deviant Art member SeawolfPaul looks to change all of that with his fantastic sketch of the upcoming pickup truck.

The sketches certainly portray the new Silverado as an even boxier, yet more muscular truck than the outgoing model, let alone early renderings of the truck. Despite the angularity, it is expected that the upcoming Chevy will be significantly more aerodynamic than ever before, with the cabin being larger. We’re also expected to see moderate gains in fuel efficiency, capabilities, and output courtesy of an all-new frame and new line of small-block V8 engines.

These actually make it look good – better than the spy shots. Maybe it’s the size of the wheels in proportion to the rest of it.

It does look pretty good, and pretty realistic too.

That’s what I envision myself (minus the oversize tires). Awesome drawing.

Butch. Macho. If the 1500 comes out like this rather than the 2500, we have a pick up war all over again.

Yeeah buddy!, The camough gave some type of clue of where the design was heading but I’m truly satisfied with these results, a good balance of “Rough around the Edges” styling , with an overall good appearance to tie it all together.
GM just knew they had to get this one right, Ace Job!

Although this rendering is a massive improvement over the styling of the current model, I do have to say that the tail end screams “Ram”.

I don’t think it looks anything like the Ram, but more F-150.

I hope I seriously do hope, the current generation is my favourite so I’m fine witn an “evolutionary” direction rather than “revolutionary”

Too be honest…this makes the current spy photos look better than they are. This guy should be in the GM engineering dept. but, that would make too much sense wouldn’t it. Well I’ve said it before GM still has a major wheel well overbite. They need to redesign there frame & get a different rear shock configuration. For some reason GM has taken a big step from there GMT-800 format & I think it was to extreme for my taste. So much so, I traded my 2011 sliverado for a 2012 ram.

I work at a dealership and one of our salesperson went and saw the trucks, he said that the fenders aren’t so pronounced and the front fender wraps under the headlights differently but other than that it is identical to what the real truck looks like.
