GM India Continues To Expand Dealer Network

In July, GM India celebrated the grand opening of a new dealership in Kolkata, West Bengal. The new location, named OSL Autotech Pvt. Ltd. and located at 2/1A, Sarat Bose Road, Lansdowne Towers, increases GM’s dealer count in the state to 8 sales points and 9 service outlets while bringing the country-wide count to 279 sales points and 272 service centers.

OSL Autotech will carry the full lineup of Chevrolet vehicles offered in India, including the Beat (known as the Spark elsewhere), Spark (the legacy Daewoo Matiz), Cruze, Tavera, Captiva, Optra, Aveo and Aveo hatchback, even though the latter two will soon be replaced by the Sail. In addition, the new location will offer accessories and service to customers.

GM’s India-market arm is looking to expand its sales and service presence to 300 locations across India by the end of 2012.
