Cadillac just wanted everyone to know that they are up to something after releasing a teaser photo of a peculiar-shaped outline of a concept vehicle, as there’s hardly anything else to take away from it.
Cadillac design director Clay Dean’s vague lines of “reflect back not for nostalgia, but what made us great at the time,” and the car being something of ”American glamour meets American technology,” don’t really help much either. So for the time being, we’re left to use our imaginations. And it didn’t take much time at all for independent renderings to surface online.
The general notion of the upcoming concept being some sort of extra large coupe is the theme of these renderings, as we see some homage to the land yachts of the 60s and 70s in the rear fascia, while the front appears to have evolved from the Ciel. How close is it to being accurate? A better question to ask is: do you want it to be?
