Arnold Schwarzenegger To Co-Star With ZR1, ZL1 In New Movie

He’s back. Or back again. Former Governmator Arnold Schwarzenegger will be the star of a new feature film called The Last Stand. The outline, according to some reports, is fairly predictable for an action flick: cop runs down cartel thug and hostage. But what makes The Last Stand special are the cars.
Apparently, the “bad guy” will pilot a tuned Corvette ZR1 while Schwarzenegger himself will be chasing the cartel leader in a Camaro ZL1; we deduced the latter from the movie poster (pictured below).
In addition, the movie will be directed by South Korean director and screenwriter Ji-woon Kim and will feature some familiar faces, such as Johnny Knoxville, Eduardo Noriega, and Forest Whitaker. The theater release date seems to have been set for January 18… and we can’t wait for the trailer.

That new, and awful looking, movie with Dax Shepard and Kristen ‘the sex kitten’ Bell features a ZR1 and CTS-V (wagon I think, can’t remember). Turns out Shepard is actually quite the driver and his Conti Lincoln turns out 650hp which is his daily driver, he has a 700hp Tatum dune buggie for the weekends and tracks a GSX-R1000.
I think he did all his own (or most) driving for the movie. And since from what the trailer gives away (which is likely the entire movie condensed into 3 minutes) is it’s one big, fast, car chase.
