Let’s face it, those OnStar buttons on the mirrors of GM vehicles have lead to some over-sized framework, enough to humiliate a hipster’s pair of spectacles. However, the plastic bordering around the mirrors can hardly be considered a fashion statement. So for the 2013 Chevrolet Camaro, a new frameless mirror will begin to be implemented in the 2LT, 2SS and ZL1 coupe and convertible models as a standard feature.
Reminiscent of the mirror designs of yore, with the modern touch-sensitive OnStar buttons now embedded in the glass. It’s old meets new, once again. Here’s to hoping the design makes its way into all Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac vehicles.Google+
