Here Are The Changes To The 2013 Chevy Silverado: RPO Central
17
For the 2013 model year, the Chevy Silverado 1500 and its Hybrid variant receive a few minimal changes — the most notable of which are three new colors, including Deep Ruby Metallic, White Diamond Tricoat, and Blue Topaz Metallic. Conversely, the Imperial Blue Metallic and Black Granite metallic colors are deleted.
In addition, the 2013 Silverado gets a set of all-terrain tires (rather than the on-/off-road units found on the 2012 models) and a few LPO options are discontinued, including the sliding bed divider, cargo management system rails, overhead utility rack, and the enough-to-make-a-rapper jealous deluxe chrome package.
Overall the changes are minimal in light of the all-new Silverado based on the K2XX platform that will bow for the 2014 model year. Here are all of the changes:

I really hope that the new Suburban and Silverado have an extensively updated interior. The current ones just look outdated compared to the F-150 and Ram.
I don’t know about the RAM but the F series I saw had a 2 foot wide center console, with a console mounted automatic shifter, YUCK! That stuff belongs in the Lincoln MK13 Versache addition not a truck.
Really? Was it the work truck? Every F-series I’ve seen has had a floor-mounted one.
is alex lufts’ middle initials GM? by far the ugliest truck interiors (talkin’ ’bout American born and owned) is ford with their “squared fill-in-the- box “look., and that huge console with shifter, standard on above XLT trim levels.
Sorry unclemikey… what are you talking about now?
Have you even driven an F-Series lately, yet alone sat in one?
read my first reply GM , yes to both of your ?’s. your point?
The point is that I’m disagreeing with you:
1. I find the F-Series to be the best-designed truck on the market, and
2. The same for the F-Series’ interior.
Seeing that the F-Series has been the best-selling truck for the last 3+ decades, the rest of America disagrees with you as well. GM needs to address issues like interior design (and quality) along with bland exterior styling head-on with the next-gen trucks.
Now, what about middle initials and what not?
Hate my 2011 Chevy clunker. I was told that it is normal since it was new. Took it back several times and was even told they hear it but it is normal. Chevy Silverado doesn’t have to worry about me ever purcahsing another one
Bring back hunter green as a color option i refuse to buy a new truck until they offer them in hunter green again.
What kind of gas mileage do the 2013 silverado hybrid get?
Bobby – the 2013 Silverado Hybrid is rated at 20 MPG city, 23 MPG highway.
Where is the improved engines, where’s the improved towing/hauling capacities, where’s the improved gas mileage? This is what is core to consumers looking for a new Truck. Until GM dramatically improves, they’ll continue to rank 4 or 5th in the north american market place. this simple “re-skinning” excersize is not enough
The 2013 changes are slight modifications to the current truck. You’re looking for the all-new trucks that are coming in 2014 with everything you’ve mentioned:

I’ll never buy another chev product. The 2012 silverado has been clunking when downshifting since day one. The dam thing even vibrates when it is running on four cylinders. It has been back to the dealer and service manager drove it home. The results NORMAL noise. So don’t buy a new silverado if you don’t want a clunker. 6 speed tranny ya right. Buy a ford.
Sorry it is a 2011 and the dealer is youngs in owosso mi.
ok soooo really they can do whatever they want to a chevy truck it will still beat the f seres ok ford isent made in america mexicans make the damn parts the only thaing good with ford is there trany now if ford and chevy got together and ford just gave them there trany it would be the best truck ever! and trucks aint spose to look pretty at all there spose to look tufe and rufe not pretty pritty
Has anyone heard they r planning on discontinuing the Chev. Silv.in the futher
