We all know about the Mom Mobile — the proverbial and oft-obligatory vehicle driven by moms to outings, sporting events, and other family-related gatherings. There’s nothing wrong with them. In fact, they make up almost half of total vehicle purchases in the United States. But what about the Dad Mobile? Well, that’s completely different.
So just what vehicle deserves to wear the Dad Mobile title? Why, the Chevy Traverse — “a vehicle that can cross what today’s family needs with what the dad always wanted.”
Apparently, we’re entering a new era, one in which fathers are taking more active roles in parenting responsibilities. And the Traverse is a car that just doesn’t question their masculinity. In fact, Chevy’s studies show that fathers prefer a vehicle that can handle utility, work, family, and fun.
In this video, Chevy has, with one fell swoop, created the term Dad Mobile. And, in the process, crowned the Traverse with the title. We’re still undecided on the exercise…
