This week’s Facebook Friday is actually not the stunning collection of weird, obscene, or degenerate messages it usually is; in fact, this edition is filled with constructive criticism, real-world problems, pertinent questions, relevant arguments, and — of course — pleas to save Saab (how could we do without that one?). There was also a noteworthy comment about the Buick Encore and the Cadillac SRX.
Without further ado, enjoy:
Lou Dobbs is spreading lies about the Chevy Volt on FoxNews. Get your lawyers ready and file suit against the bastard!
General Motors dealers used to wash your car when you brought it in for service. Now, you get it back dirtier than when you left it.
WONDERING WHY YOU ARE NOT ADVERTISING ON NAIAS SITE??? HAVENT HEARD ANYTHING FROM GM ABOUT EVEN BEING THERE?? why is that?
I hope someone at the general motor office at least see this post……..BATTERY OPERATED CARS WILL NOT LAST !!!!! yes it may seem like a good plan now but just think lithium-ion is a rare precious metal now, wait until all car manufacturers are trying to put them in every car, first the price of cars will skyrocket, and secondly there will be a time where lithium ion will meet the same end as fossil fuels…….it will be harder to find and another fuel alternative will need to be found……GM please dont depend on batteries, use hydrogen ! Yes, the infrastructure is bad right now but hey you have to start somewhere…..when cars first started running there wasn’t any gas station but we built them……….hydrogen is easy to make and you don’t have to worry about running out…….please think batteries over……….lance.b
What’s GM’s plans for large full size RWD sedans? Does GM have a coherent strategy yet or are we still playing the waiting game?
I’d pay 35k for a Cruze with the Camaro V6 drivetrain. 3.5L V-6, 6 speed manual or automatic transmisison, rear wheel drive on a Cruze would be awesome (better than BMW 1M). From your 9x Chevrolet owner and current ’11 Cruze Eco, ’11 Camaro Convertible and ’03 Suburban Z-71 owner.
The Chevrolet Santa Claus commercials were well done and cute, but it still doesn’t make me want to go to the Chevy dealer and buy a new car
I’m a big Chevy fan that is unhappy with my GM Protection Plan. My 2008 Uplander has a bad strut and the dealer is telling me they’ll only cover the bad strut. Struts should be changed in pairs period. What’s everyones opinion on this.
PLEASE, KILL THE BUICK ENCORE. Its a abomination of hideous proportions!!
The vehicle is an Opel through & through, NOT a genuine Buick!
Its just as bad if not worse than the Vuick!
The cureent SRX should be a 2nd gen. Buick Rendezvous to fill this slot in the line up. Not the Encore! Which is a stupid name by the way & reminds many of the Renault Encore POS!
The current SRX steps down into Buick territory, not UP!
The SRX should be RWD/R-AWD anyway as w/ALL Cadillacs!
I personally wouldn’t mind if Cadillac ceased to be & Buick taking over as GM’s sole luxury division! In which Buick would become RWD/R-AWD only.
With the exception of killing the Encore, we wholeheartedly and passionately agree with the last comment. The SRX should be a Buick, while the real SRX should be RWD (with a RWD-based AWD system). Passionately and wholeheartedly.
