Unless you really like Nordic log flumes, Disney World’s Test Track is easily Epcot’s best theme park ride. And everybody who had a childhood in the 90’s and 2000’s is going to enjoy the news that the attraction isn’t going away any time soon, as GM and Disney have renewed their multi-year corporate sponsorship deal. However, instead of GM gracing the name, it will solely be the Chevrolet moniker. As a result, the showroom waiting for people getting off the ride will feature only Chevy models, while GM itself will continue to be the official vehicle sponsor of the theme park as a whole.
The updates will cause the ride to close in April, and will reopen as the Chevrolet Design Center at Epcot in late 2012.
