These ads kind of point out the fact that most people still don’t get what a Volt is. But I do appreciate the comedic angle, though.
I saw these commercials a few times & my reaction felt like “they” were poking fun at it.
Now if we did this same commercial again with the people showing enthusiasm and excitement like, “Oh WOW! Is the New Chevy Volt? Hey, I thought they were electric…!” I think it would reenforce excitement in the brand.
Unfortunately, their blandness reflected an attitude like they couldn’t care less about the car. It left me feeling a little flat, IMHO.
Yupp, same here. I know exactly what you mean.
Flat out horrible ads, I saw these on tv but came into each in the middle, I thought they were more Nissan adds. Exactly right about lack of excitment. The Volt is litterally one of the coolest cars on the market and this is what the ad agency comes up with, GM needs to get Chevy back with a real ad agency…
Tell that to Mr. Ewanick
Mr. Hyundai, I mean Ewanick definately needs to rethink his strategy…
