We’ve seen this before, but it’s been a few months. And while no new intel has given us any leads as to just what this cloaked mid-sized fixed-rear-axle SUV is hiding underneath all of that camouflage, it certainly has rekindled our interest.
Nobody on the outside of this 2013 Chevy Colorado-based SUV can say for sure if this vehicle is coming to the U.S. market or not, or if it’s bound for the rest of the world in markets like Thailand and Argentina.
If it’s to offer the same engines as the next generation Colorado, we can at the very least expect an all-new 2.8L turbodiesel I-4 engine that is being developed in-house by GM, while perhaps seeing an appearance from the impressive gasoline-powered 3.6L LFX V6 or even the upcoming twin-turbocharged 3.0L LF3 V6 as well.
