According to the Flint Journal, The General has big plans for a new paint facility for its full-size truck assembly plant in Flint, Michigan which could cost as much as $417 million. The new addition would also create as much as 50 new jobs.

If the decision were to be made official, chances are that it will be part of the $2 billion master plan that CEO Dan Akerson announced only recently.
