In what is probably one of the most interesting marketing tactics originating from General Motors in recent memory, the company — in cooperation with several broadcasting corporations — is launching a syndicated television series titled ‘Inside the Vault’. At first glance, anybody would think that GM is just launching a 10-episode infomercial; however that seems to be far from the case.
The show, hosted by Chris Collinsworth of NFL fame, is planned to encompass the tastes of the modern man; everything from food, to technology, to fashion, to travel, and of course, cars. Titled the “In Gear” segment, we wager this is where a plethora of General Motors vehicles will be shown off, sprinkled with several Chevy, Buick, GMC, and Cadillac ads in between.
