According to a report from the Detroit News, General Motors North America President Mark Reuss has confirmed two new vehicles for the 2011 Chicago Auto Show, with one of them being “based on the Camaro platform”. The second vehicle has been reported to be the Buick Regal with e-Assist.
Either Reuss was being coy with the journos and it’s just his funny way of saying that the Camaro Z28 (or whatever it ends up being called) will be unveiled as expected, or it’s something completely outside of the range-topping pony car. Chances are, we won’t be let down either way.
