Just months ago, GM’s Chinese joint venture SGMW (that’s Shanghai-General-Motors-Wuling) announced the introduction of Baojun, an all new brand exclusive to the Asian market. SGMW’s goal with Baojun is to bring quality and content at an extremely affordable price. Until now, we had not the slightest idea what Baojun vehicles will look like.
Very recently, interior photos Baojun’s first vehicle have been leaked and posted on the Internet. The compact sedan, reportedly titled 630, will enter the Indian and Chinese markets starting 2011. Additionally, the forthcoming 630 is reported to be riding on the Delta II platform shared with the Buick Excelle GT (Verano in North America) and Chevy Cruze.
