In an interview with Reuters, the now-retired legend that is Bob Lutz had a few retorts in the general direction of Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla Motors. Here’s what Maximum Bob had to say:

“So far, all of Tesla’s shortcuts have failed,” Lutz told Reuters. “They seem to hold the usual Silicon Valley view that that region is the sole repository of brainpower in the United States and everyone east of the Sierras is a dim-witted dinosaur.”

Just in case you’re wondering, Lutz was responding to comments made by Musk earlier in the week.
