We’re less than an hour away from the official release of the 2010 Chevy Aveo RS that will be shown at the upcoming NAIAS, but some images of the compact have already made their way on to the interwebs. We’ll give you all the details tonight when GM officially lets loose the goods on the Aveo, but for now – we really like what we see. This is not the Aveo we used to know, this is much, much better. The only question now is – Aveo or Fiesta?

PS: from the looks of it, the RS model will be the “sporty” version of the Chevy subcompact. We don’t know whether the “sporty” is simply cosmetic or if there are some serious changes under the hood. We’ll let you know as soon as we find out!
