GM has released more ads highlighting its products and its newly-announced 60-day satisfaction guarantee program. The following GMC ads highlight the new Terrain – have a look for yourself and read on for our short-take.
2010 GMC Terrain
Both ads do a great job of highlighting GMC’s new mid-size CUV. By stating its impressive 32-mpg highway fuel economy rating, Impressive works to change people’s (false) perceptions that GM products are not fuel-efficient. Also, the Mini Cooper reference/comparison is simply precious – it’s kind of like asking, “how do like those imports now?”
In our opinion, the biggest challenge GM has going forward is changing people’s perception of its brands and products, as we will illustrate in later posts.
