GM has released a new ad campaign to accompany its Satisfaction Guarantee program that launched yesterday. The “May The Best Car Win” campaign, first presented by GM chairman Ed Whitacre, pits GM products against those of the competition. Here are the two commercials that launched with the campaign:

As you can see, the first two clips are completely unbranded. This is a very good technique to pique viewers’ interests and I wouldn’t be surprised if thebestcarwins.com website becomes very popular very fast. There, users can rank brands by how they perceive them – whether it’s fuel efficiency, safety, quality, and performance. There is also a category titled “the best.”
